Very disingenuously, Whitehall and the .gov.uk website NEVER provide such details, but, rather offensively maintain that UK immigration is carried out on a professional non-discriminatory basis that, instead of explaining much of its dynamics are in practice heavily characterised by full-blown extensively evidenced indirect discriminatory values and target population refusal/deportation quotas.  A phenomenon revealed through secret internal Whitehall, Hostile Environment operational level enforcement memos, that caused the former Home Secretary Amber Rudd to have to resign:

“I would like to get immigration enforcement right. I think that there is a problem there and it needs some really careful analysis and a brutal look at who’s doing what and who’s got what powers where.”

Spreading the misery, crippling & harming the good name of the country – two more unstated target populations of the Hostile Environment

International students:

International students and by extension the colleges and universities they come to study at are particularly popular as targets of ECOs.  International students commonly are de-facto ambassadors for the UK in that they represent what is good or bad about the latter, to their friends and families back in their home countries.

NHS recruited overseas staff:

Given the special association with the heroes of the Windrush generation who were invited to come to Britain to help staff aspects of the National Health Service, it is unsurprising that the Whitehall/Home Office architects, implementers and protectors (including especially the then Prime Minister Theresa May) of the Hostile Environment should target employees of the NHS, including specialist doctors and nurses, recruited overseas.
